Cross-cultural Experiences
"Exploring God's Heart for the Nations" includes cultural activities outside class which expose students to cultural and spiritual realities that are different from the background of most, but representative of situations into which the gospel must be taken. These learning opportunities enrich the course with personal experience, providing a chance to observe and discuss the beliefs and practices of people of other faiths.
Visits are planned to:
- Mosque or Islamic Center
- Hindu Temple

These experiences typically include a tour, group question and answer time with a guide or representative, and observation of prayer or religious services. Discussion and prayer with the class group precedes and follows the visit.
